Cleveland Clinic Foundation study confirms quality of Life Line Screening 
Study design
The study compared the results of aortic and carotid artery screenings performed by Life Line Screening personnel and by the Cleveland Clinic Foundation vascular laboratory. The study involved 20 adults who underwent aortic screening and 43 who underwent carotid artery screening.


Results
There were almost no major differences between Life Line Screening and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation measurements. Further, there was excellent agreement regarding the detection of carotid plaque, a major risk factor for heart disease.


Conclusion
Life Line Screening aortic and carotid artery screenings offer quality results that are comparable to accredited vascular labs such as the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
